Solacoat CP Primer is a water-based sealer, primer, undercoat designed to be used on exterior and interior concrete/ cementious surfaces for use under heat reflective coatings. The ceramic alloy component aids in the filling on uneven surfaces and optimizes for maximum heat reflectivity for temperature abatement.

Solacoat WB Basecoat is a novel water based primer based on acrylic resin and a zinc phosphate complex that has exceptional adhesion to both ferrous and nonferrous metals with good anti-corrosive properties on steel. Solacoat WB Primer may be top-coated with both water based and solvent based coatings.

Heat Reflective and Non-slip Waterproof Pavement Coating is a new technology, being a water-based coating specifically designed to give a Hard Wearing,Heat Reflective Non-Slip & Waterproof Surface, with minimal heat absorption for pedestrian walk areas. It is a ONE-coat application for poured application to Concrete/Concrete Pavers/Bricks/or Pre-Sand Blasted Glazed Tile surfaces, with “ivory off-white Portland cement” added by the applicator. There is the option of an additional clear sealer, which can be used in light vehicle traffic areas, and parking lots if the surface consists of concrete blocks, and/or Pre-Sand Blasted Glazed Tiles, or a Concrete surface, where applying the clear sealer, will assit in cleaning away any oil droppings etc. Solacoat CP Primer will be needed, to fill gaps before coating, and especially if the surface is old, and has absorb moisture. The product can be supplied in any of our current colour finishes. Is an ideal alternative for waterproofing Cement or Concrete roofing. Note that the best heat abatement colour is Cream.

The following recommendation applies when a roof is to be painted that is used for the collection of rainwater for tankage purposes – either storage or for drinking.

All products from Coolshield International Pty Ltd recommended for the painting of roofs are free from heavy metals and are intrinsically safe when used in accordance with the following procedures.

Roofs may be painted with two different types of paint – water based or solvent based. The choice of which one can be arbitrary when used with the correct paint system or the materials of the roofing construction may dictate it. In general, metal roofs are painted with a solvent-based system whereas concrete tiles and terracotta-tiled roofs are painted with a water based paint system.
Where a roof is used for collection of water for tankage purposes, all down pipes connecting the tanks to the roofs must be disconnected so that no water or other foreign materials can enter the tanks. Simply plugging the down pipes with plugs or rags is totally inadequate.

It is designed as a one-coat application to prepared brick, block work, concrete surfaces where mortar lines are to be obscured. Solacoat Heat Reflective Waterproof Roof Membrane is a flexible acrylic long life, medium gloss, elastomeric, high – build membrane-type coating suitable for masonry walls and roofs, providing excellent water, CO2 impermeability and very high solar reflectivity.

The high solar reflectivity together with the advanced formulation, permits sharing of the heating/cooling burden that leads to reduced temperatures in roof cavities and hence reduced heat loadings on building interiors.
